Stainless Steel Bead Chain 0.25mm – 8m Spool

Incredibly fine yet surprisingly versatile, this stainless steel bead chain is ideal for delicate jewellery designs and detailed beadwork. With an ultra slim 0.25mm profile, the chain is fine enough to thread directly through small beads such as Preciosa bicones and even Miyuki size 11 Delica beads, allowing you to incorporate beads directly onto the chain itself.

The chain is made from tiny squashed oval links that create a smooth and flexible structure. These miniature ovals can easily be adjusted using a pointed awl or T-pin. By gently opening the oval into a round shape, the ring becomes a stopper that helps keep beads positioned exactly where you want them along the chain. This simple technique allows you to space beads without needing crimps or additional findings.

The same method can also be used at the end of the chain. Open the final oval slightly to attach a jump ring, clasp, ear hook, or other jewellery components, making it easy to finish your design while maintaining a clean and minimal look.
