Bugle Beads

Bugle beads are long, cylindrical glass beads that are commonly used in jewellery making, beading, and embroidery. They are named for their shape, which resembles the instrument of the same name. Bugle beads are usually between 1 and 3 centimetres in length and have a uniform diameter. They are available in a wide range of colors and finishes, including opaque, transparent, matte, and iridescent. Because of their size and shape, bugle beads are often used to add texture and interest to beadwork, as well as to create a fringe or tassel effect. They can also be used as spacers or to add length to a design. Bugle beads are made from glass and are known for their durability and versatility, making them a popular choice among beading enthusiasts.
