Half Drilled Pearls

These freshwater pearls are half-drilled to accommodate certain jewellery designs. Half-drilled pearls are drilled partially through the center, rather than all the way through, so that the hole does not come out the other side. This allows the pearls to be attached to a jewelry setting in a specific orientation.
