Well they’re prepackaged strands of seed beads, typically consisting of many hundreds of beads strung together on a thread.

They are a convenient way to purchase a large quantity of beads for use in jewellery-making, embroidery, or other crafts. But best of all, they make threading easy. All you need to do is thread your needle and run it along the thread to pick off the number of beads you require. No fiddly one-by-one threading needed!
